Chicken Gone Bad

According to Frontline, there have been five recent cases of poultry carrying salmonella. I didn't know that Salmonella affected 200,000 U.S. citizens each year. I also didn't realize how much poultry can be tested each day. I learned that some chickens aren't even tested for the bacteria. Also, I learned that some chicken were tested negative for the the disease but more than 600 hundred people got the disease. I would like to learn more on how they test the poultry. This relates to business because people are going to stop buying poultry from Foster Farm (the biggest West Coast producer) because they can't risk getting the disease.
